Attack on Domestic Camping AUs Empty
PostSubject: Attack on Domestic Camping AUs    Attack on Domestic Camping AUs EmptyFri Oct 04, 2013 6:13 am

Petra peeked into the window of the cabin assigned to the counselors, blinking a few times before pushing open the door with a squeak. It was empty besides her now, the other counselors off watching the kids to make sure they didn't drown in the water or steal the bus for whatever reason. She had ran back to the cabin to check something on Levi's clipboard, which he had left behind for some reason despite how early in the day it was. She closed the door behind her, walking to the far side of the large room to Levi's bed. It didn't take her very long to spot his clipboard on the end table by his bed; out of all the areas in the room, his was kept the cleanest. It wasn't to say the others weren't... well, Hanji's side of the room was a concern. She picked up the clipboard, looking back before taking the liberty of sitting on the edge of Levi's well-made bed.

She thumbed through the many pages on the clipboard, pursing her lips as she went. Each page had different notes scribbled down in the man's sharp yet neat handwriting, each of them pertaining to different things about the campers or other various important notes. Swinging her legs slightly, she stopped momentarily when she saw her name on one of the pages, almost positive she was seeing things. Flipping to the page it had been on, it had turned out she wasn't in fact seeing things. Looking up to see if someone else was coming, she folded the papers under the top of the clipboard to prevent them from flipping forward as she looked over the page. She assumed he added the page specifically for this purpose, for his own personal goals to impress the woman. She stopped swinging her legs, a small smile finding its way onto her lips as she read the small notes. Most of them seemed to note that she appreciated the chivalry of a door being held open for her, others being notes on the small things she did. It was endearing in its own way, the woman giggling slightly.

She wouldn't lie to herself; the woman had developed a liking for the man, despite his blunt and seemingly unapproachable personality. The woman had been with him nearly the entire day for about two or three weeks now, and he would occasionally have a moment where he wouldn't be as blunt. That she could appreciate, and with the accidental discovery in his clipboard, it was obvious he had a bit of a softer side.

Suddenly her lips pressed into a line when she heard the door opening, quickly standing from Levi's bed and turning to smooth out the small wrinkles that had appeared from her sitting. Drumming her fingers on the back of the clipboard, a small blush creeped onto her face upon noticing who opened the door, but she hoped the shadow of the room covered it for the most part. "I...um, I got your clipboard! I don't think the information I was looking for is on it..." She lied with a sheepish smile; when she had started reading the addition to the man's clipboard, she had forgotten why she even needed to look at it so badly.

Attack on Domestic Camping AUs Empty
PostSubject: Re: Attack on Domestic Camping AUs    Attack on Domestic Camping AUs EmptyFri Oct 04, 2013 12:48 pm

The sound of a whistle pierced the air, the laughter moments before quickly stopped as the group of boys looked up from their swinging. Levi had his arms crossed, eyes unamused and completely uninterested in the activity before him, his whistle hung lazily resting between his lips ready for another blow if necessary. They had tied the little blonde boy up in a pool noodle, more specifically the horse face boy had and the cabin of boys were attempting to roll him down a small hill. Levi blew his whistle again, two short breaths and the torment seemed to stop for the time being. At least the blonde's scared protests had stopped. After a moment to insure the activities had indeed stopped, he allowed the whistle to fall from his mouth though his arms stayed tight across his chest. It was displacing not having his clipboard he often busied himself with writing notes or planning the days events while the cabin activities went on. The night before had been a particularly long one with the usual councilor meeting around the campfire, and with the morning haze he had forgotten the clipboard on his nightstand.

The man sighed inwardly, it would be the day his co-councilor needed a question answered, one he didn't know off hand. So she insisted on going to get it herself despite his offer. Levi counted it as personal loss, since the woman's training and eventual assigned councilor position his attempts to impress were..minuscule at best. Levi wasn't the type to be outright, in any situation and the idea of the other councilor returning his advances was impractical. He wasn't sure why he continued, he would never admit it, he hardly wanted to admit it for himself but the woman's smiles were worth it even if it got him nowhere. A loud splash shook Levi from his thoughts when he looked up, seeing the three boys running down the hill to the late. The small blonde had successfully rolled down the hill and into the lake, upside down and floating along the shoreline with the boys legs being the only visible thing as they kicked violently. A long sigh escaped Levi, his eye gaining a slight twitch as he walked over to the frantic boys. Oh how he loathed this..obligation.

Walking up the small grassy hill to the councilor's cabin,  Levi's expression was hard and not so far from irritated as he made it to the door. He had left his cabin with Hanji's for a group activity, the loud and eccentric councilor was more then capable of handling them until he returned which was something he planned to stretch out as long as he could. Another long exhale escaped him as he opened the door, he barely glanced at the other councilor he figured she would be in here though why she had taken so long was beyond him. Levi's dull expression met hers with hesitation, she seemed nervous which was unusual but he didn't linger on the fact as he walked further in the room, shutting the cabin door behind him "what exactly were you looking for?" his question was blunt but he didn't seem to realize it as he reached for his clipboard, giving her a second glance. He didn't look down at it, letting it fall to his side, before he nodded and continued "The little blonde bowl-cut boy almost drowned, I left them with Hanji for now. Though their safety isn't insured with that weird ass either." he grunted, turning to walk back towards the door as he gave a sideways glance to Petra which only lasted for a moment. In the next instant he opened the door for the woman, waiting for her to go out first.

The walk back across the campgrounds was a fast one because of Levi and his natural brisk step, occasionally he glanced back to see if Petra was still in tow. He could hear the loud councilor as they neared, slowing as they came up on a field, the group of campers seemed to be hitting each other with some foam prop. Levi sighed, whatever Hanji had them doing was keeping them busy so he simply made his presence known. It was in another moment he held his clipboard up to look at what they originally had planned, his hand searching for the pencil as his eyes focused on the page it was flipped to. He froze then, looking at the purposely folded papers, his scrawl describing certain aspects of Petra, his pathetic attempts to impress her. Levi was frozen mid motion, eyes not wanting to leave the page as he shamefully read over his own hand writing, realization coming to a head at this was what she had been so nervous about "Shit" he barely muttered. Slowly he looked over to her, the grip on the clipboard tightening. She knew. His fingers quickly flipped the papers forward, his expression returning hard at an attempt to seem unfazed. "I..have business to take care of..on the other side of the camp..Hanji will help you if you have any questions" he barely looked at her again, quickly turning on his heels to walk the opposite way.

Petra watched him cross the cabin, slowly pursing her lips as she handed him the clipboard. He hadn't seemed to notice that she was just going through his personal notes, which was something she could be grateful for. A momentary look of shock when across her features when he mentioned Armin almost drowning. [color=#f87212]"And you're trusting them with Hanji..." She noted with a small laugh, tucking a few loose strands of hair behind her ear. Walking to her own nightstand to grab her own clipboard that she had left behind, the woman followed Levi to the door, a ghost of a smile appearing on her lips when he opened the door and allowed her to go ahead first. Again with his little ounces of chivalry, her mind went back to the paper she had discovered.

She waited for him to get ahead again, matching his brisk steps though a few behind him as she watched his back. One side of her wanted to talk to him about it, but the other side told her to keep quiet about it, make it seem like she wasn't intruding on what wasn't meant for her eyes at all. A sigh left her, the woman looking down at her clipboard for a short moment, stopping when she had noticed Levi did. She blinked a few times, watching the campers beat each other with foam swords. She bit her lip, noticing the horse-faced one targetting the small blonde boy. He seemed to favor going after him for some reason and the blonde's friend was too preoccupied with getting a slight scold from their friend in Hanji's cabin. She turned her attention to Levi suddenly when he spoke, raising an eyebrow at his sudden interest in business on the other side of camp. "I... But Hanji's not..." She turned her gaze back to the carnage unfolding behind her, sighing slightly. Petra had half a mind to follow Levi, but the chaos behind her wasn't being mediated. "Jean! Oh my god, please stop hitting Armin with that foam sword..." She walked over briskly, glancing back to see Levi still walking away.

Levi had no intentions of stopping in the slightest, despite the hesitation in the woman's voice. Or the fact the campers seemed to be in a foam war with each other, Levi almost found himself not caring. Though he stopped, giving a reluctant look back to the field the campers ran rampant in. Watching Petra scramble between campers his hand tightly gripped his clipboard. Walk away. he continued to stare, watching as the attempt to stop the horse-faced boy from beating on the little blonde who was almost defenseless at this point. Walk away Levi he chanted it in the back of his mind, but slowly his hand reached for the whistle around his neck, bringing it to his lips followed by a piercing and mighty blow only Levi could produce. The loud ruckus from the fighting came to almost a complete stop

He looked at them each expressionless "its almost lunchtime, stop looking at me with those dumb faces and get to the mess hall" he let the whistle drop and bounce off his chest, waiting to be sure the mayhem with the foam swords really did subside. His stern eyes never leaving the line of campers as they marched up the path, some straggling behind but doing as they were told. He paused then, looking down at his clipboard writing a quick scribble when he looked back over to Petra. He stared for a moment before turning on his heels for a second time.

Petra huffed; she should have expected the camper to not listen to her. None of them took her seriously, despite the fact she had just as much authority as the rest of them. It was probably because they knew she was knew and didn't know what the whole set up of the camp was. She definitely knew more than she let on, but still they wouldn't listen. Frowning slightly, her head snapped up when she heard the piercing sound of a whistle, looking back to see Levi staring down the campers.

She blinked a few times when he announced it was lunch time, the woman sighing when the carnage had eventually ceased by the campers. Glancing at Hanji, the woman was clearly upset with how it had turned out; it seemed like she was more or less enjoying the carnage behind the campers and their need to try and murder with foam swords. She turned her attention back to Levi, who was giving her a sort of stare before he turned away in the direction of the mess hall. Pursing her lips as she gained a sudden burst of confidence, walking briskly forward to try and catch up to the man. "Wait! Levi, slow down! Dammit..." She muttered the last word to herself, a determined look on her face. "I would like to talk!"

Walking quickly up the dirt path he slowed in the slightest when he heard her call to him, though he was still moving briskly. She wanted to talk. That was the one thing he didn't want to do, he knew she knew. But did she know he knew she knew? The man didn't actually want to find out as he kept up his quickened step. He heard her get closer, moving to give her the quickest glance back. Finally he slowed, though he kept walking pulling up his clipboard to make himself seem as if he was busy looking over notes or the scheduled. "Do you have a question Petra?"

Barely giving her another look he kept his focus ahead of him, still looking down at his clipboard occasionally when he looked over again "is it about the schedule? We're going to have to change it from earlier because of Hanji." he really didn't care, the schedule changed all the time, but it was an attempt to keep the subject on anything but his clipboard.

Petra watched as Levi slowed down a bit, the woman finally able to catch up to walk even with him, even if it was still a moderately fast pace for walking. "I do, but-" She stopped talking when he asked if it was a question about the scheduling. The woman almost stopped in her tracks, her pace slowing up some to stare incredulously at the man. The scheduling? She knew he knew she knew; he was just skirting around the subject at this point.

She frowned slightly, picking her pace back up to walk in step with him again. "Not...the scheduling, Levi. It's about...well...there's a paper in your clipboard..." She started, unsure of how to continue with her next few words. Would she blatantly and bluntly call him out on what she had read exactly? No, that seemed like a bad way to go about it. She pursed her lips, taking a quick few steps to keep up with him.

He flipped a page in his clipboard, looking over the scheduling he already knew full well what it was about though he read it over again. Levi glanced over when he seen her stop and look at him, a silent curse passing through his lips. She knew what he was trying to do, he should have thought of a more clever thing to say but he was coming up short. For a moment he thought she was going to stop following him, then he heard what she said next.

Levi froze, stopping completely when he heard her next question, a frown now spreading across his features staring hard at his clipboard. "I have a lot of papers. you will have to be more specific."  again he attempted to dance around the question, he knew exactly what she was talking about but again he avoided it "you're positive you are caught up with the scheduling, maybe you should check with mine." he looked at her again but it only lasted for a moment as he seemed completely interested in his clipboard.

Petra watched him intently, her brow furrowing at his avoiding of the subject. He was beating around the bush and to say the least, it was mildly frustrating. She wanted to talk it over, get it out of the way. It was the most logical way to go about it, since they both knew that each other knew. But instead Levi was currently playing the role of a blushing and nervous school girl.

She stopped abruptly when he did, staring blankly at him as he stared at his clipboard with debatably the most intense look she's ever seen. It was just a clipboard, but the way he was staring at it made it seem like it held a grave secret.

Okay, maybe it did. But it wasn't grave. And it wasn't much of a secret anymore.

She sighed, glancing at her own clipboard. "I know you know what I'm talking about. Whenever you're ready to talk about it, you know where I am." Petra was the first to walk away this time, the woman falling into a brisk step to the mess hall ahead of Levi.

Levi didn't take his eyes off the clipboard as he waited for a response no that he was looking forward to one but from the looks of things it was inevitable. He was known for being blunt, to the point and always gave a straight answer. But now this was hardly the case, Levi stayed locked up, his jaw tight as he stared at the paper, not even bothering to read its contents. Levi relaxed when he caught what she had said though her words didn't offer the relief he thought they would bring. He turned in time to see Petra walk away, opening his mouth to say something he shut it again,  continuing down the dirt path he was previously headed. The man really didn't have a destination, there wasn't business  he needed to take care of and he could only lap the camp so many times before he eventually had to go to the mess hall, a part of him concerned on it still being there if he didn't supervise.

The trip to the large building was a slow one, Levi had turned to the page in question, the page that had gotten in him into his current situation. Reading over his own handwriting he inwardly cringed. He was sure she thought it had been sickening at best to the woman and this conversation she wanted to have was going to reflect that. Walking up to the large double doors he swung them open, looking over the tables that was already full of campers as they gathered for lunch, some already eating. He looked over to the councilor's table, all of them at their respective seats, including the bus driver who was  squished on the end at a much smaller table and much smaller chair. Crossing the room quickly he neared the table, taking his usual seat next to Petra with a slight grunt. He listened to the other councilors talk, not that he was particularly interested in what was being said but it was something to do. He didn't look at Petra the whole time, at least he tried not to but the woman was sitting next to him. Levi closed his eyes, a long sigh followed "Petra" he said giving a sideways glance "Can I have a word?" he got up then, slowly pushing his chair in as he waited for her.

Petra was more frustrated than she wanted to be with the man, more than she wanted to admit. And she didn't know why. Did she just want him to admit whatever she had read? She let the frown on her face soften as she made her way into the mess hall, pushing open one of the doors to hold it open, going over her list as the campers filed in to make sure they all made it to the mess hall intact and no one was missing. It had taken time, but she eventually learned the names of all of the campers. After they had filed in, followed by the counselors, she let the door fall closed as followed the rest of them into the large room.

The woman got more engrossed in the conversation at the table, frowning slightly as she did. "Hanji, I don't think a raccoon has the abilities to steal a camper..." The other woman just seemed to laugh at what Petra had said; Petra pursed her lips slightly. She didn't know why the eccentric counselor was so ready to believe that a raccoon could still a camper. A small sigh escaped her lips, shaking her head as she twirled a piece of hair between her fingers, her thoughts going back to the paper she had read from Levi's clipboard. She drummed her fingers on the table with her other hand, looking up when she noticed Levi taking his usual seat next to her. She didn't say anything, her lips pressing into a line suddenly as she listened to the other counselors debate the probability of a UFO coming to abduct the campers next. Her gaze turned to Levi when he addressed her, a simple question following as he stood up. Taking a small sip of her water, she stood up with a small nod. "Of course, lead the way." She gave a hint of a smile, her earlier frustration already gone.

Levi looked out over the mess hall as he waited for Petra to stand, his jaw tightening when she agreed to come with him. He'd make it quick, to the point, just as he always had. The sound of her chair moving brought him back, looking at her with a nod he made his way back across the large mess hall, his walk not as brisk as before but still carried him quickly across the floor. Upon reaching the door he opened one side for her yet again though this time he kept his attention to the inner mess hall. He checked his cabin table out of habit in time to see the horse face boy, and the boy with the girls name looking as if they were seeing who can stuff as many chips into their mouths in an attempt at some contest. Levi didn't stay to watch as he followed Petra out.

He walked a ways away from the mess hall, more towards the lake to at least have privacy. The most one could hope achieve at the camp at least, even if he hated the filthy oversize cesspool. Once they had walked far enough for Levi's liking he didn't bother turning he simply stopped, watching out over the body of water his expression never once changing. "I'm shit at trying to cover things up." he started, crossing his arms as he focused on a tree across the lake, "I know exactly what paper you're talking about and its exactly what you think it is." his arms grew tighter across his chest though he still didn't look at the woman "I was out of line for it. Feel free to shadow another councilor, I can get you a list of whose accepting." he shifted lightly where he stood, another sigh escaping him. "I didn't mean for it to make you feel uncomfortable, you weren't meant to see it."

Petra followed Levi to the exit of the mess hall, looking at him when he held the door open for her. Stepping out of the large building, her smile growing slightly, she waited for Levi to take the lead to wherever their destination may be. She walked with her hands clasped behind her back, glancing around at the sights of the woods around them. The woman took a look back at the mess hall for another short second before turning forward again, taking to watching Levi's back again.

She stopped when he did, looking out to the lake before facing him again, though he didn't face her. Petra moved to fold her hands in front of her instead, glancing to the ground, her gaze returning to Levi as he broke the short silence between them. As he talked, she quirked one of her brows in confusion when he got to his offer to get her a new counselor to shadow, and his claim at not wanting to make her feel uncomofrtable. Petra stifled a small laugh, shaking her head slightly as her shoulders shook. "Levi...you weren't making me uncomfortable. I honestly don't know where you got that thought in your head." She looked between them, taking a short step closer to him. "If anything, it was... endearing to see that you paid attention to the small aspects. Not a lot of people do." Slowly she moved to step in front of Levi, moving one of her hands up to cup his cheek. "If it's anything...your feelings are returned." She gave him a smile, leaning forward to press her lips against his for a few short seconds. "So I think I'll continue shadowing you for the summer." The woman reassured, lightly brushing her thumb over his cheekbone.

Stewing and mulling over the words he had just said, Levi's stare at the distant tree on the other side of the lake intensified into more of a glare, though with his expression it was hard to tell the difference. He took in a sudden breath of air when he heard Petra laugh, this caused him to look at the woman only to find that she had gotten closer. His frown worsened in confusion as he pieced together her words, his eyes glancing to her hand as it rested on his cheek. Her hand was gentle, just as he thought it would be. His expression faltered somewhat upon her feelings being the same as his. Something he didn't think was probable. When her lips met his, the expression he attempted to keep ridged softened completely. Petra's lips were warm and soft as he had imagined but never would have admitted. When she pulled away he leaned with her, arms falling from the lock on his chest he had barely caught what she said before his hands searched to pull her in again, lips again meeting hers in a firm kiss.

It lasted longer then her's, Levi hadn't realized his hand sliding up her side, the other pulling her further against him, the deeper he planned on making the kiss when he stopped suddenly. He was getting far too ahead of himself, surprising even himself the small contact roused such a reaction out of himself. The man cleared his throat, stepping away from her as his expression returned from earlier "Then..its settled." he spoke, attempting to ignore the lingering feeling of her lips. He glanced back for a moment towards the path up to the mess hall, "I..didn't want to be forward" he looked back at her, though his eyebrow raised in the slightest. "though if I had known my papers would have been gone through anyway, that defeated the purpose." he stated blankly, mocking her in the slightest.

Petra's eyes widened slightly as Levi pulled her in for a second kiss but it wasn't unwelcomed. She fought the small blush off of her face when she returned the affection, leaning back to the man to move her arms around his neck. A small smile found its way to her lips, the woman watching as he stopped and pulled back suddenly. She fought the small laugh that threatened to come out of her, the woman almost too giddy about them.

She listened to what he said, glancing at the mess hall as well before turning her attention back to him, her hands back behind her back as she rocked on her heels slightly. Petra felt more filled with energy than she thought she ever could be, the feeling of Levi's lips still lingering on hers. Taking a step closer to him, she reached out to grab his hands in her own, swinging them slightly in between them. "You kept that paper in the middle of all of the other ones." She pursed her lips, though her smile returned seconds after. "Were you going to plan on telling me, or would you have gone through the rest of the summer without me knowing?" She asked, watching him

Levi's full attention was on the woman, his eyes moving down to watch her rock then back up to the smile she had on her face. He couldn't help but notice the smallest details about the woman, the very things he had written down so carefully on that paper, what he thought was going to be his downfall earlier in the day and it turned out far better then he could have imagined. Glancing down he watched as he felt her gentle hands in his, giving the slightest squeeze in return. A hint of amusement flashed across his eyes as he watched as Petra swung their hands, leaning forward again he purposefully leaving little room between them, looking for the blush he had seen earlier.

"It was in the middle because it was a frequently visited page" he spoke lowly, grey eyes watching her, the amusement from earlier still lingering. His eyebrows raised in the slightest as he glanced to the side before his gazed return back to Petra. "No. I wasn't going to tell you."  he watched for her reaction first before he continued. "I didn't think you were..interested." his face darkened slightly in thought, mulling over his next few sentences, before pushing the lingering thought to the back of his mind "I didn't want to make you uncomfortable, I would have rather said nothing then..have you shadow one of those useless asses in there" he nodded back to the mess hall with a grunt.

Petra's smile didn't seem to leave her lips, still watching Levi as he leaned in closer. Again she blushed slightly, giving his hands a squeeze before letting them go to move them up his arms to rest on his shoulders. She listened to what he had to say in regards to if he had planned on telling her at all, frowning momentarily when he told her he didn't plan on telling her before the end of the summer. Biting the inside of her cheek, she continued to look at Levi as she drummed her fingers lightly on his shoulders. She didn't question his look of thought, despite her curiosity.

She slowly leaned in for another kiss, pressing her lips against his in another short action before leaning away again. "I'm far from uncomfortable. How do you feel about it?" Petra tilted her head slightly, bringing a hand up to play with the ends of his hair. She stole a small glance at the mess hall before looking back to Levi, watching his eyes with a look of curiosity still faint in hers.

Feeling her hands leave his for the moment he thought about leaning back, he was..rusty at best with these kinds of things and didn't want the scare the woman away he had just found to share his guarded feelings. Though Levi paused when he felt her hands on his shoulders, his own hands sliding to her waist in return with a light squeeze. Watching her reaction Levi's jaw tightened though that quickly ebbed when she leaned forward. Not to be caught off guard like the first time, Levi met her half way into the kiss, a free hand slowly coming back up Petra's body to cup her cheek. His actions were smooth, they came naturally to the man which was surprising, considering he never thought of himself as gentle. Leaning back when she did, he watched her with is expressionless eyes, though they softened in the slightest at what she said, watching the tilt of her head and how her hair fell over his hand. Clearing his throat he thought for a moment about the question before answering "Grateful." Levi softened further, moving to lightly meet her lips.

What sounded like an explosion came from up the path of the mess hall, Levi's soft expression was gone in an instant as the hardness came back to his eyes. He stared for a moment at Petra before he blinked back up the path to the building. The large double doors swung open, followed by puffs of black smoke as campers shuffled out waving their hands and coughing. "Son of a bitch" he muttered though his tone was dull. He turned his attention back to Petra, both hands now quickly placed on either side of her face, he pulled her to him in another slow kiss before stepping away. "We'll talk more later" he grunted, turning to walk back up the path before stopping "I..want to talk more later" he corrected, turning back around to briskly walk up the path to the loud commotion.

Attack on Domestic Camping AUs Empty
PostSubject: Re: Attack on Domestic Camping AUs    Attack on Domestic Camping AUs EmptyMon Oct 07, 2013 6:49 pm

She held a cool bottle of water in her hands as opposed to the alcohol the rest of the counselors were holding around the campfire. Petra preferred not to drink; she wasn't overly fond of the morning after being riddled with headaches and slight irritation, along with a lack of motivation to do anything at all. The counselor in training felt a sort of obligation to watch the rest of them, to make sure they didn't do anything as stupid as the rest of the campers did on a regular basis. From what she learned, Levi was usually fine, but the other four were...debatable, moreso Hanji. The more inebriated the other woman got, the more dramatic she got with story-telling, with the others being a sort of odd back-up.

A very weird sort of back-up, she decided to herself.

Petra glanced over at Levi, a small smile crossing her lips. They had entered a relationship about two weeks prior and have been able to keep from anyone else in the camp figuring out. She sat a little closer to him than usual, knowing the other counselors were on their way to getting too drunk to notice, with the potential of them completely forgetting in the morning if they did. The woman didn't pay much attention to the conversation behind held by the other counselors, although they seemed particularly amused by it.

Hanji stifled a laugh, trying not to drop her glass as Ambros poured another shot from the fifth of tequila they had on their side of the campfire. "No! See, see, I think..." She paused momentarily, trying to gather her thoughts through the haze of the alcohol's effects, downing the shot. The burn of the drink faded a long time ago, but she barely remembered. "I'm convinced that if we... maybe if we give the horse faced boy some drugs, he'll stop cramping!" Her words were slurred slightly, but they were still clear as she stifled another laugh, a thought coming to her mind. "Wait, wait!" She turned to face the two on the other side, her focus mainly on Levi. "Levi! You'd be able to provide drugs, right? They'd probably be extremely illegal, but I think it might help your little cramping boy!" She couldn't stop the laughter that escaped her, the wingmen for the night following her example with their own laughs, giving each other highfives. "Maybe some happy pills, Heichou!" She could barely get those words out, her laughter and the slight slur in her words making it difficult to understand, but it was still out there all the same.

Petra turned her attention to Hanji as the other woman turned to face them, quirking a brow at whatever she was saying. She looked between Levi and Hanji, confusion crossing her features at the mention of illegal drugs. Her eyes stopped on Hanji and the other counselors, who seemed to be in a large fit of laughter from Hanji's words.

Levi adjusted slightly on the log, the surface was unappealing to sit on as well as dirty. Though the alcohol helped him ignore that fact for the night. He didn't like to let loose often, especially around others but this was as close as he can get. He could hold it well, he had enough practice over the years to go through a few shots and still keep it casual. Though tonight he had a glass in between his fingers, the bottle rested against his leg. He only had a few pours from it, he found quickly that the wine was too sweet for his taste, and he was hardly in the right mood for shots with the other councilors.

Slowly his eyes moved to Petra, catching her looking at him for a brief second. Two weeks in they had been seeing each other, finding spots to  spend time with the other had been difficult considering the campers never let them have a moments rest, but the camp grounds were big enough to find a few moments alone. Levi leaned back, sure to brush arms with the woman next to him with a sideways glance before he settled again on the rough seat.

He hadn't been paying attention to the other councilors, his mind and attention was mostly on Petra when a slurred version of his name came out from the other side of the fire. He blinked over slowly, listening to what the obviously drunk woman was going on about. Suddenly he froze, it didn't take him long for it click what she was referring too, his expression going dark "I think you've had enough Hanji..all of you have." he attempted to give her his best look but he knew it would be in vain considering the other woman's condition. He gave a quick glance at Petra before back to the other side. "We..should go to the cabin now, its late."

Hanji put a fist to her mouth, another vain attempt to stop her laughter was all it was. It was mostly from Levi's vain attempt to keep her from going any further with her jokes. After all, that's all they were. Jokes. Why was he getting a stick up his ass about them? She put her shot glass down gently next to her, about the only sense of coordination she had was used to make sure her glass didn't fall over. "Relax, Levi! I'm pretty sure you still have some connections. If you can't get him happy pills, why not..." She snapped her fingers in thought, looking off in another direction. "Angel dust or meth... maybe acid, too!" Still she tried to stifle more laughter, the brother and sister duo next to her attempting another highfive at the joke, only to fail and smack each other in the face.

Petra blinked again, her eyes returning to Levi again at Hanji's second crack and attempt at a joke that seemed to only be funny to her and the brother-sister duo. She pursed her lips slightly, keeping her eyes on Levi for a few seconds more before looking back at Hanji. "Hanji, what are you... I don't get it." Petra said, pursing her lips as another sharp laugh seemed the escape the eccentric counselor, the sound echoing around the camp. "Petra! Are you telling me he hasn't told you yet?!" She slapped her leg, trying to stifle her laughs further. "You haven't told her?" Hanji asked, putting her hand to her mouth to make a better attempt.

Moving to set the glass down, his hand balled into a tight fist at the councilors words his glare simply seemed to intensify as the drug names seemed to be the clearest thing out of the woman's mouth. Levi moved to stand "Hanji.." he tried another warning but it was obvious the woman was too far gone, he had lost count of how many shots the three of them had shared. He stood suddenly, not looking at Petra as his eyes never left the other councilor only glancing for a moment at the brother and sister who were almost on the ground at this point, something he would resent from the both of them.

His eyes widen slightly when he heard Petra, now finally turning to look at her from a side glance "There's nothing to get" he confirmed, nodding to the path where the councilor cabin was located, giving another hard look at Hanji. He almost choked at what she said next"There is nothing to tell her." he spoke firmly, though it was obvious his authority held little to no weight with no one at the campsite at the moment. Levi tightly crossed his arms across his chest, his eyes never leaving the eccentric councilor the tension was starting to build in his jaw. He knew where the councilor was going with this, he didn't understand why the past needed to be brought up, let alone in a drunken stupor. Levi cursed to himself, barely giving a final glance to Petra as he  went down the opposite path of the camp site. He didn't know where he was going but away from the rest of them was probably best.

The hike down the path was a quick one, due to his quick step which fueled his already boiling thoughts. Hanji had no right to speak of his business, he and Petra were fine the councilor-in-training didn't have to be educated on anything. The two weeks he had with her was the most enjoyable time he ever had of all the time he was stuck in the middle of the woods with these kids. Another curse hissed passed his lips as he made for the tree line, his destination was clear and he certainly needed to be alone.

Hanji looked at the short man as he stood up, more laughter only seeming to come from her as he said her name. She attempted to recover, almost falling backwards on the log as she continued to laugh. "Oooh! You're a threat to me right now, Levi. What're you going to do, pull a gun on me?" She put her arms up like she was being held at gunpoint, falling to her side and holding her stomach as she laughed. She continued to watch Levi, wiping tears that were welling in her eyes as the man walked off in irritation, bringing her hand to her mouth again to stop her laughs. Slowly she sat up, looking across from her at the woman who sat in her own confusion, Petra turning her gaze over to Hanji after watching Levi's back for a moment before standing up suddenly, her attention turning back to the path the man had gone down. "Levi! Dammit..." She called, the second word being whispered more to herself when her attention was turned back to the dark-haired woman. "I can't believe he hasn't told you yet..." Hanji shook her head, relaxing.

Petra sat back down slowly, her eyes narrowing somewhat. "Told me what? I'm still not understanding..." The woman muttered, looking down at the bottle of water in her hands. She leaned down to set it on the ground, her gaze returning to the other counselor. "What hasn't he told me that you all already know?" She heard a snot from the other woman, Hanji taking the bottle of tequila from the ground to pour another shot for herself. "Oh, Levi. Levi, Levi, Levi. He used to be some sort of.." She paused to down the shot, shaking her head as she put the glass down again. "He used to be a crime lord, or something? Big on drug dealing, break-ins..." Petra stared at the woman, her brow furrowing as she continued to talk although she hardly paid attention past the initial part. Again she looked down the path Levi had taken, unable to see clearly past where the fire lit the dark. She sighed as she stood, swallowing the nervous lump in her throat. She followed the path Levi had taken slowly, biting her lip as she went. She had absolutely no clue as to where he went, but she had to find him. The counselor didn't know how she felt about what little information she had, even though the information seemed to hold a lot of weight. She supposed a normal reaction would to be shocked, angry, perhaps a little scared that there was a potential ex-crime lord running around the camp. However, all she could feel was a sense of curiosity, maybe from the fact she just couldn't see Levi being that kind of person, or more from the fact that it was obvious he wasn't that anymore.

Crossing her arms over her chest, she stopped walking to think about where he could have gone. He wouldn't have gone to the lake, that was for sure. It was dirty that way. He probably wouldn't have gone back to the cabin, either; there was a chance someone else unwanted would show up there. A sudden thought hit her, the woman uncrossing her arms to continue at a brisk pace. There was a chance that maybe, just maybe, he had gone to where the ziplines were.

Levi hardly payed attention to how dark the woods were, each tree was just a thick black blur as he followed the path. He hardly had to see it, though he wouldn't be able to even if he tried the moonlight being the only light in front of him. This was really the only place he didn't hate at the camp, the zip-line platforms were high enough to not notice someone at the top and the dark made it near impossible. Levi sighed as he neared the tree, he was half guessing he was in the right direction till he seen the bright red flag that hung on the bark to mark the first line. The latter in the tree was old, but Levi himself checked it regularly every summer to make sure it was still stable. A muffled grunt came from him as he climbed up to the platform, reaching to grip the outer edge to pull himself up with little to no effort.

He stood at the top, surveying the dark trees for a moment before he leaned back against the tree, arm crossing tightly against his chest. The man's eyes stared at nothing in particular as he thought back to what was said at the campfire. He only could imagine what was said after he left, what Hanji had slurred to Petra about what he was. Another curse escaped him, he had planned on telling her himself at some point, edging slowly into such a sensitive subject. The idea of his..intricate past would be what would scare Petra off irritated Levi though he didn't move from his spot, his head slowly moving to look up at the branches above him.

PostSubject: Re: Attack on Domestic Camping AUs    Attack on Domestic Camping AUs EmptyTue Oct 08, 2013 11:29 pm

She crossed her arms again, the unusually cold temperature of the night getting to her now that she was away from the fire. The woman only knew the general direction of where she was going; knowing the camp when it was light out was one thing, but knowing it at night was another. Petra tightened her arms across her chest, letting out a huff as she continued on her way. She got lost in her thoughts on the way, her hand coming up to play with the ends of her own hair. What bothered her now was why it was brought up so suddenly by the dark-haired woman left behind at the firepit. Or why the jokes were necessary.

She slowed when she came up to her destination, looking around carefully for Levi. She pursed her lips, sighing as she looked up at tha platforms. Even with the moonlight, she still couldn't see all too well. Her arms fell back to her sides, the woman still keeping her hazel eyes on the platforms above. "Levi, are you here? I... I'd like to talk." Her voice was soft, but still loud enough to be heard if he was up on one of the platforms. "I'm just curious." She said the last part mostly to herself, furrowing her brow as she looked forward again.
